Job Description:

Killeen Mall is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Housekeeping Director to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations of our bustling shopping center. This leadership role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness across the mall, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our shoppers and tenants. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of management experience, a strong background in facilities management, and team leadership, and a keen eye for detail, with experience in operating carpet cleaning machines, including buffers and shampooers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff to ensure all common areas, restrooms, food courts, and entrances are consistently cleaned and maintained.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, routines, and training programs for housekeeping staff.
• Operate and oversee the use of carpet cleaning machines, including buffers and shampooers, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of management experience in facilities management, housekeeping, or related field, preferably in a mall environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team effectively.
• Experience operating carpet cleaning machines, including buffers and shampooers.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
